Job Specs:
Experience in field of Architecture is preferred.
Advanced user with ArchiCad &/or Revit is necessary
Responsible for developing BIM models from Point Clouds.
Preparation of construction drawings using REVIT/CAD and other relevant software platforms.
Preparation of Structural & Architectural elements in BIM.
Previous experience in working with point clouds is preferred, but not mandatory
Experience in AutoCAD is preferred
Require to be fast and efficient at creating 'as-built' BIM models with high levels of accuracy and detail.
Job Description
Create structurally accurate and organized Architectural Revit (BIM) models and/or AutoCAD drawings
Develop plan, elevation, section, and detail drawings from the models with adequate detail and proper annotation for tender and construction.
Develop and maintain office BIM/CAD standards and procedures for sheet layout, layering, modelling processes, and drawing formats.
Work productively and coordinate activities on numerous projects concurrently.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Requirements
Experience utilizing Autodesk Revit modelling and AutoCAD software
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural construction documents.
Appropriate tertiary qualification
Minimum of 1 – 2 years of work experience
Excellent time management and communication skills
Attention to detail or good organisational skills
Ability to work on your own, under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience working with RECAP, Cloud Compare or Leica software would be advantageous
Employment Package:
3 – 6 month contract (with possible option to extend the contract)
Company Laptop and software (if needed)
Option to work from home should you have suitable internet access / office space is also available.
Flexible work hours
Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 CTC (Depending on experience)
Position is based in CAPE TOWN
